The parents of unprivileged children don’t have the means to purchase a school bag and stationery for school. We bless these children with a brand-new school bag and stationery to give them the confidence to enter school. We serve the corporate world and partner with businesses in realising their social corporate responsibilities in an effective and transparent way, maximizing the use of available resources and involving staff as far as possible. Together we will provide each child with a school bag which will include the following:
“The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go” – Dr Seuss
We identified that reading and the love thereof is a big problem with most learners. This is due to the lack of access to books as well as their environment that does not allow them to cultivate a love for reading. We want to encourage learners to read by collecting new and second-hand books.
A Set of school clothes will give the children confidence and motivation to learn. It will help them feel more comfortable in the learning environment and give them pride in the school and their ability to succeed.
Tracksuits will motivate children to participate in sport. Sport is a good way to increase the blood flow through the body which will help the children concentrate when they must study. A healthy body equals a health mind.
We strive to give the children the resources to have both a healthy body and a sound mind.
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.” – Dr Seuss
We donate shoes and socks for learners and their families who do not have a warm pair of shoes for the winter. If a child is cold, they will struggle to concentrate, with a warm pair of socks and shoes their feet will be nice and warm so they can focus and strive to do their best.
It will also help children that needs to walk to school every day. Their feet will be protected against the heat of the roads as well as the rocks and thorns.
Uplifting schools in underprivileged communities to provide better education by improving their infrastructure. The maintenance of school buildings, as well as the expansion thereof, are a cost that underprivileged schools cannot bear. We assist schools with their maintenance and in building classes to expand their school allows them to teach more grades and decrease the number of learners per class. This will help the teachers to focus more on the children they have in their class and give each child the help they need.
There is an abundance of talented young people across South Africa who lack the resources to reach their full potential. By supporting a small number of deserving students with bursaries, so that they can attend university, we will make an impact on these young lives.
Golf puts the fun in fundraiser. It is a nice way for us to get to know our donators and inform them of our mission as a company and what we strive to do. It can help the donors feel more a part of the mission and not only the source of resources. It is a way for the donors to get something in return. It is a great way to build a good relationship with the key stakeholders.
